Lisa DiPippo, Ph.D.

Dr. Lisa DiPippo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Rhode Island. She earned her BS in Computer Science at Lafayette College, and her MS and PhD in Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics respectively at URI. She is the Academic Director of the Cyber Security Program in the DFCSC. Dr. DiPippo was instrumental in obtaining the NSA/DHS designation as a Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research. Dr. DiPippo's research interests include secure communication protocols, secure routing in wireless sensor networks, and trusted distributed systems. She has served as a reviewer for various related journals and conference proceedings. Dr. DiPippo's research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, DARPA, and the National Security Agency. Dr. DiPippo is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.
